If I kept my kids at home instead of sending them to school, I’d never have to get out of my gardening clothes! And, of course, every day would be like today – a perfect balance of chores actually done, books read, spontaneous maths, a lot of art and craft, a thoughtful musical appreciation hour and silly movie watching.
*sigh*

Yeah…I’ve just read How Children Learn at Home by Alan Thomas and Harriet Pattison so I could argue I want to because I’m convinced that staying home in a supportive learning environment would be of benefit for my reluctant reader, but really I think it’s just so we’d have the option of not getting dressed! lol…

So, now that you’ve done several years of school, do you think it might be only fair that you get to try the other option for a term or two?
